We recruit students to study abroad. Our value is to promote cultural awareness and cultural exchange through experiences of students while they study abroad. We hope to see our students gain cultural competency and become more accepting of human differences.
Our services include advising, application assistance, document preparation, VISA preparation, and pre-departure orientation. We serve promote development of students in accordance with their needs and interests. We aim to promote their self-awareness, understanding of differences, and the development of their learning capacity in order to prepare them for meaningful studying abroad experiences.
- Develop and lead in the implementation of the company’s marketing strategies and services.

The SBA President is the chair of the Student Parliament; works with nine other parliament members from around the world; maintains strategic plan of the SBA, represents the voice of students at college’s meetings, such as Board of Trustees, College Council, Student Service & Activities Fee, and Strategic/Budget Planning meetings.

- Advocate for a staff position and an adequate space for supporting underrepresented students.
- Advocate and promote an alignment of co/extra-curricular activities with learning outcomes from the Council for the Advancement of Standard (CAS) in Higher Education, including its assessment.
- Lead a student-initiated project to educate students about budget reductions to higher education from the state and provide opportunity for them to rally and advocate with support and collaboration by faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Make decisions on student budgets’ allocations over $3 million per year.
- Manage the Sustainable Commuter Option Fee project to provide subsidy for students who use public transportation.
- Plan and manage the project to appoint and support students serving on campus-wide committees.
- Restore the Director of Student Lifer position to the Student Leadership Center.
- Serve on screening committees for the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs and the Director of Student Life.
2010-2011, International Peer Mentor
International Education Office
Shoreline Community College, WA
International Peer Mentor is a student leader position under the International Education Office; works in a team consisting of three other international students from Japan, Taiwan, and Indonesia to assist both new and continuing international students to attain their goals at the college.

- Co-coordinate the quarterly International Student Orientation Program for Summer and Fall 2010, and Winter and Spring 2011 with the International Education Office.
- Conduct international student survey on advising services and present to the college’s administration.
- Facilitate a cultural adjustment seminar for new international students.
- Plan and manage quarterly events, including Halloween, Lunar New Year, and International Graduation Celebration, in collaboration with student clubs and organizations within the utilization of learning outcomes framework.
- Plan and manage a fundraising project for Japanese Tsunami and Earthquake victims raising $5,000 USD donated to the Japan Red Cross.
